Step into a high-impact Finance Systems role where your expertise in ERP, financial systems administration and data governance drives enterprise-wide outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Systems Administrator / Systems Accountant who is passionate about optimising ERP platforms, improving financial processes and ensuring data integrity across a complex organisation.

In this critical role, you’ll be the subject matter expert for our enterprise Financial Management Information Systems, including TechnologyOne and Magiq, ensuring system performance, reliability, financial reporting accuracy and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role delivering value across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, general ledger (GL), and system optimisation, while partnering closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders.

Please note: This is an 18-month fixed-term, full-time parental leave cover.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Systems Administrator, you will:

  • Lead financial systems administration across ERP platforms (TechnologyOne, Magiq), ensuring system stability, performance and optimisation
  • Manage user access, system controls, governance and compliance, aligned to audit and financial control requirements
  • Maintain general ledger (GL) integrity, including chart of accounts, journals, reconciliations and data validation
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and usability
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing financial statements and reporting outputs
  • Deliver system enhancements, upgrades and projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration and release management
  • Provide level 2/3 user support, troubleshooting and training across finance systems
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements, automate workflows and enhance reporting capability
  • Support audit processes, data integrity, compliance and risk controls
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, system resilience and continuous improvement initiatives

About You | What You Bring

You are a technical, analytical and stakeholder-focused Finance Systems professional, ideally with experience in complex or data-rich environments.

You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in Finance Systems Administration / Systems Accounting / ERP Systems
  • Strong experience with TechnologyOne (TechOne), Magiq or similar ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Expertise in financial data management, data integrity, governance and controls in complex or data rich environments
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP implementations, system upgrades, integrations and UAT
  • Strong knowledge of core financial processes (GL, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close)
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
  • Experience working in financial services, government, education or enterprise environments
  • Strong ability to engage stakeholders, translate business requirements and deliver system solutions
  • Excellent communication, documentation and training capability
